Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this BulletProof Hitches Offset Extreme Duty Adjustable Two-Ball mount for 2 1/2-inch hitches. This adjustable ball mount with offset has a maximum capacity of 36,000 pounds, making it ideal for extreme heavy-duty towing. The offset design allows for drop or rise without the ball mount needing to be flipped while still letting you fold down your vehicle's tailgate. This shank is going to slide into your 2 1/2-inch hitch receiver on your vehicle, and this is gonna be ideal for vehicles with 19 to 21 inches of clearance from the ground to the bottom of the inside of your receiver tube. The adjustable height is going to let you tow trailers of different heights with the same vehicle, and the hitch ball platform is gonna easily slide up or down the channel, and it secures in place with these included pin and clips, and this adjustable channel is made of 5/16 of an inch thick laser cut steel plates, and these steel plates can handle high capacities without bending, and because of the laser cutting, the channel plates have consistently-sized pin holes. So you can easily remove or reposition the hitch ball platform.

I just wanna give you a brief demonstration of that. I'm gonna remove the clips here from the pins. And then, I'm very impressed with how easy these pins are to remove and to replace. That's one of the things that I really appreciate about BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mounts is that there's no problem at all replacing or removing the pins. So I've got our 2 5/16-inch ball here.

I'm just gonna turn it to our two-inch ball, drop it just a little bit here in our channel. So as you can see, those pins go in and come out very easily, very smoothly. So you're not gonna have to worry about being at the back of your vehicle, struggling to get these pins in or getting them out. As you might be familiar with some other adjustable ball amounts, it can be kind of difficult especially the first couple of times you use it to get those pins removed or replaced. Not with this, this is going to work very easily and very smoothly right out of the box.

Now these pin and clips are made of heat-treated steel to withstand the heavy weight from your load, and that zinc finish is gonna provide corrosion resistance. As you can see, we have nine adjustment holes. It's gonna give you seven mounting positions. And when used in this position, the maximum drop is gonna be right at about 7 1/4 inches, and the maximum rise is gonna be about 4 3/4 inches. The adjustment hole diameter is 5/8 of an inch.

So on this two-inch ball, you can tow up to 12,000 pounds, and on the 2 5/16-inch ball, you can tow up to 36,000 pounds. The maximum tongue weight capacity is 6,000 pounds. And as you can see, these hitch balls are welded directly to the ball platform. That's gonna give you that extra sturdiness. That's gonna give you that ability for extreme heavy-duty towing situations. This is made in the USA of a heavy-duty steel construction that's strong enough to, as we we're talking about, handle large trailers and heavy cargo. Another feature that I really appreciate from BulletProof Hitches is their matte black powdercoat finish. Not only does it look great, not only does it make your adjustable ball mount look great especially when it's sitting on the back of your vehicle, but practically speaking, it's going to prevent rust and corrosion on your adjustable ball mount even after repeated use. I haven't mentioned it already, this coating is textured and feels like it's applied quite thick on here. So I think this is going to be very long lasting and this solid steel shank is CNC chamfered, meaning that this is going to be very easy to remove, and then to insert into your hitch receiver on the back of your vehicle. Because it's chamfered, there's no sharp edges. So this is going to be a very easy thing to put into your hitch receiver or take out. And since there's no sharp edges, this powdercoat is not gonna easily peel or chip away. This does have a hitch pin hole diameter of 5/8 of an inch. I do wanna mention that the pin and clip are not included with this. So if you already do not have a compatible pin and clip, that would be a separate purchase. However, with a purchase like this, you are making an investment, so I would definitely recommend taking a look at the many hitch lock options that we have here at etrailer.com so that you can secure your investment to the back of your vehicle. Now this features two 1/2-inch thick steel gussets that are welded between the shank and the channel. And what that's gonna do for you is brace the mount and keep the channel from bending even at maximum drop or rise, and this adjustable ball mount is also compatible with a wide variety of accessories which are sold separately. So for instance, instead of using the included ball to tow, you could install a weight distribution shank in the channel of the mount to attach your weight distribution system, or you could add a clevis, or you could add a shackle attachment for off-road or recovery operations, or you could just simply add a hitch step to easily access your truck bed.
